Birch, Original red Niger leather, black painted nails. Provenance: Made on special order for Mr Torkov's own home. Torkov was dept. head for furniture at Illums in the 1930s. He was probably the designer as well. Literature: “Bygge og Bo”, 2. vol., 1935, part 3, ill. and referred to p. 21
