Birch with various intricate inlays of zebrano, sycamore, teak and walnut. Inscribed 'E.C.' to bottom of left door and inscribed with date '1934' to bottom of right door. A sofa and armchair with identical intarsia panels were exhibited at the Chicago Worlds Fair which ran from May 26 1933 - October 31, 1934.
